This we believe is a charming, pretty room and makes us stand out from the crowd.

Decorated with hint of pink walls, white artex ceiling, John Lewis 3 bulb light fitment with glass shades.

Fully carpeted [new 2005] in a short pile mottled/flecked pink/mauve colourway carpet.

Full length lined pale-pink Dupion Silk fabric curtains, on pull-cord track system. Numerous floral prints adorn the wall above the bed.

An Original Bedstead Companies king-size [5ft/150cm] Carrie cast-iron bedstead in cream with a high-quality Silentnight Micracoil firm pocket sprung mattress [both new April 2007], suitable for the climate a tog feather duvet, feather and synthetic pillows provided.

Bed linen provided [Dorma/Sanderson/John Lewis], and the bed will be made up for your arrival. Pale cream bed-spread, pink throw, toning decorative cushions

Bedside tables each side, with full cloth covers and glass tops, off-white Laura Ashley bedside lamp bases, pale green fabric shades. Small bedside type stand with a selection of Tourist Information. Wedgewood ornaments.

Built-in wardrobe with voile panel [ability to be fully drawn] with plenty of quality clothes hangers.

Pine set of 2 over 3 chest of drawers. Antique grandfather chair.

Large rectangular mirror and small circular mirror. Shelf space for guest belongings.

Heating: double radiator with thermostatic heating control, also a portable electric DeLonghi convector heater.

Extras that make us a little more special: Alarm clock. Hair dryer. Sewing kit. Clothes brush/sticky mitts. Towelling bath robes. Hand-held mirror [two sided, with magnification]. Tissues. Emergency set of bed-linen.

Please note with prior notification/booking we do have available for use a luxury single folding bed and/or a Mama & Papa's cot with coir mattress.

We are also able to provide sheets and blankets for guests preferring that type of linen
